Hello, Hello!!! I hope everyone had a great holiday!! I arrived back home today after my trip and I am beat. It was so great to spend time with my family though and meet my new nephew! Talk about cute! As predicted, there was wine, Tom and Jerry's (which is apparently a warm, eggnog-esque drink - so yummy!) sweets, and lots and lots of food. Some Christmasy treasures, cookies, and artwork from my nieces and nephews came home with me. Along with a great camel-colored belted coat and a pair of grey over-the-knee boots that I can wait to experiment with! Some of my favorites are above... enjoy.

Making Merry!
Mere hours until I'm country bound. I can't wait to see my family, especially my brand new nephew Cillian!! Italian beef, frosted cookies, mulled wine, turkey, ham, friends, family, gifts, music... the anticipation is killing me!!! ;) So now... I am taking a bit of a break. (The internet connection where I am going is not that great) I'll post again next Wednesday with all my Christmasy updates. I hope everyone has a very happy holiday!

Cynthia Rowley
I was laid off last October. So...for the past 2 months, I've been desperately searching for a new job. Instead of applying for another boring office job, I viewed this time as an opportunity to finally start making my way up the very high, very long, fashion ladder. And after what seemed like the loooooongest 2 months of my life...I got a new job with Cynthia Rowley!! I can't wait! I've always loved Cynthia's collections. She is really playful with the balance between her neutrals and the bold pops of color.
So excited... wish me luck!!

Jump for joy
Numéro is quickly becoming one of my favorite fashion publications. The spreads are genius! This one is no exception. I love all the red... and of course the orange tights!!!! Fantastic!!! Now... Where to find them? Hmm....

Swan Lake
It has been a snow filled couple of days in Chicago. Everything is covered in a beautiful, white blanket creating a winter wonderland out of our dark, hard city. I love the contrast between the white snow and the black roads... very beautiful, very Chanel. ;) For the same reason I adored this Swan Lake inspired spread by Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello for Numéro Magazine. It is light and whistful, dark and edgy... just like winter.

Reds and Greens
It snowed in Chicago today. I can't believe I'm saying this... but I wish it would have snowed more!! It fell in beautiful, large flakes but unfortunately didn't stick. I loved it anyhow!! It really got me into the holiday spirit, as if I wasn't already. But for some reason, I'm even more excited about Christmas this year. Our tree is up already, I've been humming carols for weeks now, and I'm contemplating buying a new holiday sweater for my pup, Audrey. So when I saw this spread it made me smile from ear to ear. 22 days... anyone else excited?

Santa Baby...
Is it too early to ask Santa for a few... little... things? I didn't think so either.
Santa: Feel free to leave any of these little treasures under my tree. I've been very good this year. :)
