Adding to the Chicago Fashion Stereotype

I'm not a negative person by nature, and I HATE doing any sort of critical entry but things need to be said.  Stereotypes aside... Chicago has some remarkable designers.  And believe it or not, there are people who know how to wear them. But any stereotype is there for a reason.  Tonight, I saw it first hand. Depressing to say the least.  I went to the Horacio Nieto S/S runway show which, to much dismay, also included the unveiling of his men's line.  I really, really wanted it to be brilliant.  More than anything. Unfortunately, aside from a few dresses and a classic trench in the woman's line, I was so disappointed.  I wanted more.  I felt I deserved more, just for purely showing up.
